City buses
5 tips
- ✓Board from the front or the door the conductor points to, and buy your ticket from the conductor. Keep small change — ₹10 and ₹20 notes help.
- ✓Tell the conductor your stop name; they will call it out. Our journey page shows how many stops to go.
- ✓Seats near the front are usually reserved for women, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
- ✓Peak hours are roughly 8–11 am and 5–8 pm. Buses are more frequent then but also more crowded.
- ✓Check the last bus time on the route page before travelling late in the evening.
🚇
Metro
2 tips
- ✓Buy a token or use a travel card at the station counter or machine. Keep the token until you exit.
- ✓The Pink Line connects Mansarovar with the walled city — handy for the Railway Station, Sindhi Camp bus stand and the old markets.

Auto-rickshaws & cabs
1 tip
- ✓Agree on the fare before you start, or use an app-based ride. For short hops from a bus stop, an auto is often the quickest last mile.

- ✓Dress modestly and remove shoes where asked at temples.

Safety
